Phyllis was a member of Marple Swimming Club. The girl on the right also appears in one of the swimming club photos. The girl on the left is almost certainly Phyllis's elder sister, Bertha.

The lady on the left, (possibly Bertha) is definately the same person as the girl in the centre of the photo described as 'Phyllis Harrop) left, with unknown family or friends'
