Greenbank House

Greenbank House on Hibbert Lane. It was next to the college grounds roughly where the sheltered housing is opposite Willow Court.

Greenbank House and its land was owned by Francis Brindley until his death in 1834, and was in the occupation of Jonathan and Samuel Hadfield. After 1834 the land and house was inherited by Robert Brindley who also took over the running of Marple corn mill on Strines Road.
