Mike Heap says: The man in the photograph with his hands on his hips is a (very young) Roy Braddock. I can't identify any of the other men. You could get petrol served across the pavement in front of the shop until the extension of Hibbert Lane to Stockport Road was built (in the late 1960's) The petrol pumps were then moved around the corner onto the Hibbert Lane extension. The shop remained continuing to sell a cycles, car spares and tools etc. Today the the shop and the petrol station are all part of a car show rooms.
