Mr. Oldknow purchases his Limestone of the canal company at the bottom of the rail-way at Bugsworth Wharf, at 2 shillings and 1 penny per ton, and coals of indifferent quality, called Sleck, are delivered to the kilns at 5 shillings to 6 shillings and 8 pence, per ton.
