Alan McFall recollection: “The open air dancing in the council offices car park is about the limit of my memories. I remember that it was fortunately a nice week and that the dances were on every night for a week. The popular dance at the time was the Harry Lime Theme foxtrot, a set dance which was easy to remember. The girls in our group were Anne Jackson and her friends. I don’t remember getting a Coronation mug. If I had one, it has long gone”.
