Macnair, Frank Gordon c1945Dr Frank Macnair was a GP, between about about 1932 and 1947, based at Charlecote, on Church Lane and later in Winnington Road. Bridge Section Give Sweets for Children 1957The bridge section of the Bramhall Community Club held a special Easter evening (1957) in the parish hall. Members each took to the meeting a qtr of sweets and these made a total of 17.5lb which were presented by the club leader Mr. J. H. Douglas, to Miss Mary Wallace (2nd right), a pre-nursing student at Marple Children's Orthopaedic Hospital. Provided by Mary Dovey (nee Wallace).Feb 12, 2021
