Swimwear Fashion Event 2008


On Saturday 28th June 2008 Bare Necessities of Market Street held a Swimwear Fashion Event on the Precinct in support of the Find a Cure for Martha Campaign. The event was opened by Martha herself and these photos were kindly provided by Arthur Procter.

French Boules Tournament 2008


On Saturday 30 August 2008 the Friends of Marple Memorial Park held a fun French Boules Tournament to celebrate the construction of a new boules court in the Park. There was a great turnout and very enjoyable afternoon was had by everyone who joined in.

Marple 10k Trail Run


The Marple 10k Trial Run began in 2007 and has been held each year since. The event is organised by Marple Fire Fighters to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity and is sponosored by the Ring o' Bells Pub. Photos from the 2008 and 2010 events are currently featured in this album. If you have more, please send them in.
