Rose Hill Station Community Art 2018

The Friends of Rose Hill Station's inter-generational community involved the creation of a large scale mural sited behind the station car park. The artwork was led by local artist, Tracy McGuinness-Kelly and consists of approximately 300 individual pieces of art painted on wooden discs created by people of a wide age range from across the Marple community. The discs represent themes relevant to the community of our local history, environment, our railway and canals, rail safety, nature and society.

These photos are from the Launch Event when the Mayor of Stockport unveiled the mural on Saturday 17th November 2018.
