Macclesfield Canal

Macclesfield Canal looking towards Eccles Bridge and showing All Saints' Church and West Towers. It says on the back that it was taken by Arthur Hulme in 1905 but the Goyt Mill was built in that year and there is no sign of it on the right bank. So the picture may well be even earlier.
From Marple Local History Society Archives.
