Navigation of the 'Virtual Tour' is
fairly intuitive but if you're unsure of the best way to
find your way around we hope this page will help you get the
most out of it.
The Tour is divided into
two levels of category. The top levels being :
Buildings
and Street Scenes
Historic Buildings
Attractions and Features
People and Events
Each of these
top level categories is divided into sub-categories. For
example, Historic Buildings is
divided into :
Brabyns
Hall
Marple Hall
Mellor Mill
Each
sub-category has one or more albums containing a number of
related images.
There are many
different ways of finding your way around the albums
containing the photos. First of all is the main navigation
menu:
Most of these links work in relation to the categories you are
viewing. If you are looking at all the top level categories on
the 'front page' of the Tour then it will return information
for the whole Tour. If you are viewing a single category it
will return information for only that category.
