This side of Bleak House, the mills dwellinghouse, faced the Corn/Mineral mill for over 100 years, from 1808 until c1914 when the mill became disused and derelict and eventually demolished. To the left of the house, as we look at it, there was originally a stable, cowhouse and gighouse. The gighouse was for the storage of carts.
